In the midst of Covid-19, I have tasked myself to participate in new things that will take me out of my comfort zone to develop new skills. For this project, I went way out of my comfort zone and attempted to customize a brand new pair of Vans shoes by hand using POSCA paint pens. I found a great pair of Vans Sk8 - High Green Checkered shoes, and started to brainstorm how I wanted to customize them. Since they came with green checkers, I thought it would be perfect to show my school spirit and make them customized University of Oregon shoes. Below was my creation process.
